  • bǐng - pastry, cake

I know the word 蛋糕 for cake, but I haven't learnt 饼, which seems to be the word for a pancake, as in the words 煎饼, 烙饼, 松饼, 薄饼, 博烤饼 and 热香饼.

    We made pancakes today.

  • 蔬菜

    shūcài - vegetables

This word has come up on Smart.fm, which helped me understand some of Tintin.
