- to kowtow
I think I must have known this was a Chinese word, but today was the first time I had actually wondered what the actual Chinese word was. So this is it, although there are a couple of variations: 叩首 (kòushǒu) and 磕头 (kētóu). It seems that 叩 by itself means to kowtow, or to knock.
My God, what would a man do with a woman like that except worship her?
